Starting from Walna Scar car park, our route takes you up this famous mountain via the dramatic Goats Water tarn, where we will have our dip. Overlooked by the impressive Dow Crag, this is a swim not to be missed. Once we have summited the Old Man we descend the steep rocky path back to the car park.
