Description

The Langdale valley is home to some of the best rock climbing routes in Britain, including those on the mighty Gimmer Crag, Pavey Ark, White Ghyll and Raven Crag. There are options to visit high mountain crags when the weather allows, and other more easily accessible climbs where appropriate or preferred.

This climbing activity has been created for people who have some climbing experience, good physical fitness and a head for heights. We will discuss options with you beforehand so that you can choose what is most suitable for your preferences and the forecast conditions. If we choose to visit the higher crags it will involve a full mountain day as the approach can often take at least 1 hour 30 mins. Let us know if you have a particular crag or route in mind.
