Description

An iconic feature that symbolises the beginnings of rock climbing. Anyone who would like to take on this challenge should have some climbing experience, good physical agility and a head for heights!

Napes Needle is high up on a mountain called Great Gable and has quite a long approach walk (at least 1hr 30 mins). The climb is relatively short, but there will be a little waiting around while ropes are set up for a safe ascent. Once completed, there is an option to finish the day on Needle Ridge – another classic climb with exhilarating situations.
